According to fire and ambulance transmissions, monitored by the newspaper:

Nov. 8

8:18 a.m. — Hillsboro fire, Hillsboro ambulance, and Hillsboro rescue were called to 150th and Indigo Rd. for a one car rollover accident. Transportation was not specified in recordings.

3:03 p.m. — Marion ambulance, Marion rescue, and Marion fire were called to 160th and Quail Creek Rd. for a one car vehicle entrapment. Marion ambulance was released from the scene.

9:43 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance, Hillsboro fire, and Hillsboro rescue were called to approximately one mile west of Hillsboro on US-56 for a two-car injury accident. Marion ambulance was later called to assist with a second patient. A man in his 20s was transported by Hillsboro to an unspecified location.

Nov. 9

10:37 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a one-and-a-half year old who had fallen down a set of stairs and was complaining of pain from 250th Rd. between Alamo and Meridian Rds. to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

TUESDAY

No calls were recorded.

WEDNESDAY

10:37 a.m. — Goessel fire responded to Alamo Rd. between 90th and 100th Rds. for a brush fire that had rekindled.

11:27 a.m. — Peabody fire responded to 5th and Elm Sts. for a person burning items.

12:16 p.m. — Peabody fire responded to the 400 block of Vine St. per law enforcement request for a tree that had blown over that had live wires in it.

1:50 p.m. — Ramona fire responded to the old school house for a grass fire in front of the building.

2:57 p.m. — Goessel first responders and Hillsboro ambulance responded to 120th Rd. between Indigo and Holly Rds. for a man who had fallen. He was transported to Newton Medical Center.

5:18 p.m. — Peabody ambulance was dispatched for a woman having difficulty breathing. Transmissions didn’t indicate the location or disposition of the call.

THURSDAY

7:54 a.m. — Peabody ambulance transported a woman in her 50s having irregular heart rhythm from the 800 block of N. Sycamore to Newton Medical Center.

Friday

12:25 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a basic-life-support patient from St. Luke to Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita.

6:53 a.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 200 block of E. 9th St. for a woman who hurt her ankle while falling down stairs. She was transported to Newton Medical.

7:12 a.m. — Marion fire responded to the 200 block of S. Lincoln St. after a woman ran over the gas meter with her vehicle.

8:52 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a woman in her 80s who was very weak and suffered a possible stroke from the 500 block of E. Grand St. to HCH.

10:53 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to Hillsboro Municipal Airport to pick up Eagle Med and take them to HCH.

2:02 p.m. — Hillsboro responded to the 400 block of W. B St. for a man in his 40s who fell out of his wheelchair and needed assistance. Hillsboro fire also was paged for lifting assistance.

3:43 p.m. — Peabody fire responded to US-50 west of Peabody for a vehicle that was on fire. They were dismissed after Harvey County fire took command.

4:03 p.m. — Hillsboro fire responded to 180th Rd. between Nighthawk and Old Mill Rd. for a grass fire.

Saturday

12:55 p.m. — Goessel fire responded to Diamond Rd. between NE 108 and 80th Rds. for a grass fire.

2:22 p.m. — Hillsboro fire responded to the 400 block of S. Washington St. after an alarm company notified dispatchers that an alarm was going off in the residence. An officer on the scene then told dispatchers it went off due to the resident changing the batteries, so Hillsboro fire was dismissed.

5:40 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported a 1 year old who was not breathing well after a door fell on her from the 100 block of Ashley Dr. to St. Luke.
