Donald Hasenbank

Donald Dean Hasenbank, 64, of Tampa, died April 22 at his home following a battle with cancer.

Born Feb. 24, 1953, to Cleo Carl and Velma Lorraine Rowe Hasenbank in Manhattan, he attended local schools and graduated in 1971 from St. George High School.

He was a machinist and worked for AGCO in Hesston. He also had worked in an auto body shop, and as a forklift operator for Oldsmobile and Beech Aircraft.

He married Diana Fisher on Aug. 29, 1975 in Salina.

Survivors include his wife, Diana, of the home; daughters, Kiana Fairchild of Hillsboro, Stacie Marsden of Marion, and Becky Seadeek of Wilsey; siblings, Cleola Ward of Wamego, Larry Hasenbank of Scranton, Lyle Hasenbank of McFarland, Gary Hasenbank of Newton, and Ricki Hasenbank of Eskridge; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by brothers Keith Hasenbank, Forrest Hasenbank, and Dale Hasenbank.

Funeral services were Saturday at Campanella-Evans Mortuary in Wamego, with internment at St. George Cemetery.
