WEDDING:   Couple exchanges vows in California ceremony

Isaac and Jessica Horinek

Jessica Helling of Fallbrook, California, and Isaac Horinek of Camp Pendleton, California, were married Sept. 28 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Fallbrook. Father Arturo Uribe was the officiating clergyman.

The bride is the granddaughter of Robert and Rose Marie Helling of Fallbrook. The groom’s parents are James and Norma Horinek of Marion.

Music was provided by pianist and vocalist Valerie Kahle and guitarist Damien Helling, both of Fallbrook.

Escorted by her grandfather, the bride wore a white lace vintage floor-length gown with a long, sweeping train and carried a bouquet of coral, pink, and white wildflowers.

Danae Fagan of San Diego attended her friend as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included the groom’s sister Sarah Bina of Windom; her cousins, Rachel Helling of Carlsbad, California, and Violet Helling of Fallbrook, and friends Brittany Eisenbraun of Carlsbad, and Crystal Bagtas and Veronica Lowry of Fallbrook. All wore full-length coral gowns.

Serving the groom as best man was his brother, Jacob Horinek of Buhler. Groomsmen included the bride’s cousins Ryan Helling of Santa Barbara and Elias Whitaker of Fallbrook, and his friends, Tyler Klenda of Emporia, Andrew Hosszer of Fallbrook, and Christopher Tarallo and Jose Rodriquez, of Camp Pendleton.

Flower girls were the groom’s nieces, Adeline and Dejah Bina. Ring bearers were Oliver and Milo Helling, sons of the bride.

Damien and Natalie Helling served as hosts at a reception held in California. A reception in Kansas was hosted by Sarah Bina. The groom’s niece, Audrey Bina of Windom was the guest book attendant. Altar server was the groom’s nephew, Lakin Wege of Windom.

Following a honeymoon in California, the couple lives in Fallbrook where the bride is manager of a moving company and the groom is serving in the United States Marines.
