NEW JAILINGS

Tammy J. Bremer, 55, Florence, arrested March 5 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of felony cruelty to animals and violating her probation. Released 23 hours later after posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed Feb. 28 to March 3 and Nov. 16 to 18 on court orders.

Jouanna S. Cain, 33, Florence, arrested March 5 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of felony cruelty to animals. Released 23 hours later without bond. Previously jailed eight times for a total of all or part of 25 days between April 28, 2023, and Dec. 22, 2024. Previous jailings were on court orders three times, for allegedly violating her probation once, for failing to appear in court three times, and on suspicion of theft by deception and driving while her license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Alan D. Gillen, 61, a former Peabody City Council member, arrested March 5 on suspicion of battery. Released 17 hours later without bond.

Joseph L. Harrold, 48, Peabody, jailed March 4 for failing to appear in court. Released 19 minutes later after posting a $2,500 bond. Previously jailed Jan. 26 and 27 on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Forrest C. Maris, 38, Peabody, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of aggravated battery and aggravated endangerment of a child. Released 15 hours later after posting a $15,000 bond. Previously jailed Dec. 18, 2022, and April 3 and 4, 2020, both times on suspicion of domestic battery.

Michael W. Sigel, 53, Marion, jailed Sunday for 48 hours on court orders. Jail records list Sigel as being jailed without interruption from Feb. 10. However, court records indicate 10 separate 48-hour jailings starting that date and scheduled to continue through April 5.

Taylor J. Sutton, 25, no hometown listed, held for court without bond Monday. Previously held for court Dec. 23 and 24 and Aug. 13 and 14 and jailed Feb. 1 to 3, 2022, for aggravated failure to appear in court.

Jonathon R. Thomas, 21, Florence, arrested March 5 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possession of stimulants and felony cruelty to animals. Released 24 hours later without bond.
