NEW jailings

Merle D. Leppke, 77, Marion, jailed April 1 on suspicion of driving under the influence and transporting an open container of alcohol. Released an hour later on $3,000 surety bond.

Forrest C. Maris, 33, Peabody, jailed Friday on suspicion of domestic battery and violation of a protection order. Released Saturday on his own recognizance.

Bryan J. Robinson, 37, Dwight, jailed March 31 on suspicion of driving under the influence, transporting an open container of alcohol, failure to display evidence of liability insurance, and operating a vehicle without a valid license. Released April 1 on his own recognizance.
