Cotton makes for rewarding, risky venture

Ben Temple has been growing cotton with his uncle, Brock Baker, for 12 years. The pair usually harvests 400 acres, which in a good year can provide 200,000 pounds of cotton. Some of their crop is late to mature, like the above plants at Nighthawk and 130th Rds., which could prove problematic.
