Contest deadlines coming soon

Entries for Hoch Publishing coloring and recipe contests are due by 5 p.m. Dec. 16.

The Santa’s Christmas Coloring Contest for kids 3 to 10 must be the picture printed in the Nov. 23 edition of the Marion County Record, Hillsboro Star Journal, and Peabody Gazette-Bulletin. Copies of the picture are available at the Hoch Publishing office.

One winner will be selected to win a Christmas stocking full of gifts. The contest is co-sponsored by 10 area businesses.

Entries can be brought or mailed to 117 S. Third, Marion, and are due by 5 p.m. Dec. 16.

The annual reader recipe contest, co-sponsored by eight area businesses, gives local cooks an opportunity to share their favorite holiday recipes. Winners will receive gift certificates redeemable at local restaurants.

Entries can be mailed or dropped off at the Hoch Publishing office, 117 S. Third, Marion, or emailed to social@marionrecord.com.
