Twelve members of the 20th Century Club answered roll call with saying whether they had baked bread or not in preparation for the program at the Feb. 1 meeting at Christian Church.

Mary Beth Bowers presented a program on wheat farming, making wheat into flour, baking bread, and different types of bread that are available in stores.

Officers were elected for the 2016-2017 year. They are Betty Sanders, president; Becky Summerville, vice president; Margaret Pickering, recording secretary; Sally Hannaford, treasurer; and Carol Laue, corresponding secretary.

The club also donated $50 to PRIDE to go toward the purchase of a new Farm and Market banner.

The next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. March 7 at Wagon Wheel restaurant.
