Two Centre FFA alumni have qualified to receive the American FFA Degree, the highest degree achievable.

Greg Oborny and Zach Barney will receive their degrees in a special ceremony Nov. 2 at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis.

Both graduates have state FFA degrees and were chapter officers. They also did community service and were outstanding in academics.

Greg is a 2017 high school graduate. His supervised agricultural experience included working for his father on the family’s farm and helping farmer Dusty Bina with cattle and crops.

Zach is a 2018 graduate. He worked at Jirak Brothers Produce all through high school.
