9 a.m. — Dog vaccination and license clinic, 214½ E. Main, Goessel. Discounted rabies and parvo shots for Goessel-area pets.

Sunday

5 p.m. — Community picnic. Fried fish, mountain oysters, seasonal vegetables, homemade rolls, a variety of salads and desserts. Harvey House Museum, Florence.
