Bruce Sayers

Services for retired Boeing worker Bruce Sayers, 59, of Burns, who died June 14 at Via Christi - St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, were Saturday in Peabody. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Florence.

Born Dec. 10, 1957, in Wichita to Lawrence F. and Lois L. (Glass) Sayers, who survive, he was preceded in death by son Travis Wayne Sayers.

Other survivors include daughters Sara C. Wessel of Marion, Megan B. Sayers of Peabody, Jessica C. Sayers of Wichita, and Sarah Fay Sayers of New Bloomfield, Missouri.

Siblings Mike Sayers of Colorado Springs and Sandra Sayers of El Dorado also survive, along with five grandchildren.

Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion, was in charge of arrangements.
