Forty-two teams made up of just shy of 200 wrestlers traveled northeast to Rossville for the Class 3-2-1A super regional tournament Friday and Saturday

Both Aimee Kelley and Anna King made it into the second round of championship competition before getting knocked down to the consolation rounds.
Kelley, King, and Claire Morey were officially eliminated after the third consolation round.
“Although they struggled to pick up wins throughout the season, these girls have made a lot of progress and continue to learn,” coach Scott O’Hare said. “I am excited for them to continue in the program and am hopeful we can continue to recruit more girls to join them.”
Hillsboro boys will travel Saturday to Fredonia for the 3-2-1A boys regional.
Marion
After losing in the first round Friday, four Marion wrestlers battled on the backside of the bracket for consolation rounds the remainder of the day.
Morgan Dixon, Cadence Bialek, and Vyolett Dawson were officially eliminated after the second consolation round.
Olivia Mathews was eliminated in the third consolation round.
The Warriors season is not over yet, with the 3-2-1A boys’ regional coming up Saturday in Fredonia.
