Shirley Bowers brought in pink peonies and a single iris resembling an orchid May 11 to the senior center.
Aulne Church birthday group visited the center May 5 to honor the birthday of Leonard Smith.
Janet Bryant read Erma Bombeck’s “When God Created Mothers” to the center in honor of Mother’s Day.
Lanell Hett, who works in the office of the department of aging, and her daughter Lindsay, had their photo featured on the senior center bulletin board after they were featured in the Salina Journal’s mother-daughter lookalike contest.
Warren Smith volunteered to help Jackie Hett deliver meals.
Shari Schmidt’s children will present a program on May 25.
