Bill Olsen

Bill E. Olsen, 74, died March 12 at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Kansas City.

Viewing will be from 1 to 5 p.m. today at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion.

Services will be at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Pilsen, at 2 p.m. on Thursday with the rosary and the funeral mass at 2:30 p.m.

Interment will be in the Pilsen Cemetery.   

He was born September 8, 1941, in Marion County.  He was a graduate of Marion High School. 

He was a carpenter, worked at AMPI, and built cabinetry. 

On Oct. 6, 1962, he was united in marriage to Lucille Ann Rudolph.  They had six children. 

He was preceded in death by his wife in 2014; daughter Tamara Heidebrecht in 1991; and brother Jerry Olsen. 

He is survived by his children  Stephen of Lincolnville; Eric of Lincolnville; Amy Rose of Lincolnville; William of Hillsboro; and Timothy of Lincolnville; siblings Harold Olsen of Newton and Georgia Richards of Columbus, Georgia; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
