A back to school bash in Marion from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Central Park will include splashing through sprinklers and other fun for kids.

Games and giant bubbles, fun with sidewalk chalk, and face painting by high school cheerleaders will also be some of the activities.

A free hot dog, chips and watermelon feed will also be provided.

Children are encouraged to wear their swimsuits.
