Senior center attendees celebrated two birthdays the week of Nov. 2, accompanied by treats. Leland Albrecht celebrated Nov. 5 and Phyllis Soyez on Nov. 6.

The center welcomed Pam Varenhorst as a new dining room volunteer Nov. 9.

On Veterans Day, one of the regular diners decided to pay for the meal of any veteran present. The center had six veterans present that day: John Kline, Jerry Kline, Caleb Abbott, Leland Albrecht, Jerry Higgins, and Dwight Kruse.

Wanda Williams gave the program on Veterans Day, playing patriotic music on the piano, and closing with “Let There Be Peace on Earth.”

Come to the senior center Nov. 25 for a Thanksgiving meal and program. The center will be closed Thanksgiving Day.
