Colby J. Suderman, 17, rural Hillsboro, was ticketed for not wearing a seat belt after he lost control of a 1998 Dodge Dakota at 6:10 p.m. Thursday, and it ran off the road to the right and overturned.

The Dodge, owned by Kevin R. Suderman of the same address, was listed as being destroyed.

As a precaution, Marion ambulance and Peabody firefighters were dispatched to the accident. However, an off-duty ambulance attendant was first of the scene and canceled the call.

J. Edward L. Cain, 51, Marion, was ticketed for having no liability insurance and driving while his license was suspended after the engine of his 1980 Chevrolet C15 caught fire at 5:33 a.m. Thursday.
