These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Diamond Rd. south of 240th Rd.

Dennis W. Penner, 70, Hillsboro, hit a collapsed culvert with a 1992 Freightliner semi owned by Paul Penner, Hillsboro, at 10:30 a.m. June 30.

K-15 north of 280th Rd.

Shianne A. Mendoza, 20, rural Durham, hit a deer with a 2019 Nissan Versa owned by Super Car Guys, Wichita, at 5:40 a.m. July 4. The Nissan was towed.

260th Rd. east of Old Mill Rd.

Callie J. Bernhardt, 16, Tampa, lost control of a 2002 Chevrolet Impala on loose gravel at 11:45 a.m. July 4. The Impala, owned by Kelly Bernhardt, Tampa went through a fence and came to rest on a driveway. Deputy Kalan Miles’ report blamed the accident on driving too fast for conditions, but no citation was issued.

190th Rd. east of Pawnee Rd.

Emily P. Schafers, 20, Marion, hit a bobcat with a 2016 Jeep Cherokee owned by Kelley J. Schafers, Marion, at 11:57 p.m. July 4. Neither Schafers nor her passenger, Katelynn D. Frye, 22, Marion, reported injury.

Sunflower Rd. south of 150th Rd.

Two vehicles being driven too close to the center line sideswiped each other at 11:30 a.m. July 7. Neither a 2012 Ford Escape owned and driven by Rhonda R. Brenzikofer, 84, Marion, nor a 2007 Buick Lucerne owned and driven by Donald L. Wilson, 48, Marion, had to be towed. Deputy Aaron Christner did not issue any citations.

US-77 north of 50th Rd.

Terry L. Tripi, 54, Augusta, hit a deer with her Toyota Camry at 9:28 p.m. July 7. The Toyota was towed.

US-50 west of US-77

Patrick M. Boatner, 29, Missouri City, Texas, hit a deer at 4 a.m. July 8 with his 2011 Mercedes C30, then struck a curb when he turned to check on his daughter his daughter, Belle R. Boatner, 1. The Mercedes was towed.

K-150 at Xavier Rd.

Mary E. Roensch, 45, Hutchinson, hit a deer with her 2009 Dodge Caravan at 10:30 p.m. Thursday. The Dodge was towed.
