These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Sunflower Rd. north of 120th Rd.

Martin E. Toland, 56, rural Marion, hit a deer with his 2011 Jeep Liberty at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 8.

K-15 north of US-56

A load of chicken dung spilled into a ditch after semi driver Gert Venter, 23, Ellinwood, took a left turn onto K-15 too fast at 9 a.m. Nov. 8, according to sergeant Travis Wilson’s report.

Venter’s 2000 Freightliner Sprinter semi-trailer, owned by TriAg Resource Management of Ellinwood, rolled onto its passenger side and had to be towed.

Wilson’s report stated that Venter was inattentive and driving too fast for conditions, but no citations were issued.

Indigo Rd. north of 120th Rd.

Freda L. Ollenburger, 60, Hillsboro, hit a deer at 6:48 p.m. Nov. 8 while driving a 2018 Dodge Journey owned by Gerald Ollenburger of the same address.

US-50 west of Nighthawk Rd.

Mark S. Buller, 60, Newton, hit a deer with his 2001 Toyota Camry at 12:14 a.m. Nov. 9. Neither he nor passenger Brenda F. Buller, 66, of the same address was injured, but his car had to be towed.

K-15 north of 270th Rd.

Cole X. Ungaro, 25, rural Durham, hit a deer with his 2017 Dodge Ram 2500 at 6:26 p.m. Nov. 9. Breah L. Ungaro, 25, McPherson, was a passenger in his pickup.

US-77 south of 240th Rd.

Ross C. Earnest, age not given, Wichita, hit a deer with a 2018 Ford F-250 at 10:20 p.m. Nov. 10. He was able to drive away in the pickup, owned by Union Pacific Railroad.

120th Rd. west of Holly Rd.

Lois Johnson, 83, Marion, hit a deer with her 2007 Ford Escape at 9 a.m. Nov. 13.

Sunflower Rd. north of 160th Rd.

Trinda L. Humphrey, 29, Marion, hit a deer with her 2006 Chrysler Town Car at 5:30 a.m. Thursday.
