Accident reports released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
SHERIFF
US-77 south of 360th Rd.
A 2009 Honda CRV driven by Shengwu Shang, 40, Manhattan, was stopped in a work zone when it was struck from behind by a 2004 Chevrolet C2500 driven by John Sabata, 70, Herington, at 1:32 p.m. Nov. 6. Both vehicles received minor damage.
US-50 east of Old Mill Rd.
Timothy Leitnaker, 31, Cedar Point, was driving 2001 Ford F150 east when the left front tire came off at 1:53 p.m. Nov. 7. The vehicle was towed.
US-77 south of 105th Rd.
Seth Meyer, 41, Marion, struck and killed a deer with a 1998 Subaru Legacy owned by Amy Meyer of Marion at 10:11 p.m. Nov. 9. The vehicle was towed.
Remington Rd. north of 250th Rd.
Jacquelyn Klenda, 30, Waverly, struck a deer with her 2014 Mazda CX5 at 7 a.m. Nov. 11.
US-77 north of Wagonwheel Rd.
Seth Meyer, 41, Marion, was towing a stock trailer with a 2013 GMC Sierra when the trailer detached, went into a ditch, and struck a fence owned by Lenora Smith of Marion at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 11.
US-56 east of Eagle Rd.
Christian Larson, 22, Canton, struck a deer with his 2004 Dodge 2500 at 5:39 p.m. Nov. 13. The vehicle was towed.
Indigo Rd. north of US-56
Kerry Higgins, 67, Hillsboro, struck a deer with his 2005 Toyota Corolla at 5:56 a.m. Nov. 14.
K-15 north of 320th Rd.
Holly Bethe, 62, Hope, was driving a 2012 Ford Edge when a deer ran out of a ditch and struck the passenger’s side of the vehicle at 7:55 a.m. Nov. 13.
