According to law enforcement reports released Friday:

US-50 west of Mustang Rd.

A deer struck the right front side of a stock trailer pulled by a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Jeremy Douglass, 40, Baldwin City, at 8:10 p.m. Oct. 1.

Goldenrod Rd. south of 190th Rd.

A 2008 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Tyah Jost, 17, Littleton, Colorado, struck a bridge rail and went into the west ditch after striking a vulture. The vehicle was towed..

360th and Sunflower Rds.

A 2000 Ford Taurus driven by Conner Montgomery, 20, Lincolnville, was southbound on Sunflower Rd. at 3 a.m. Oct. 2 when Montgomery reportedly failed to turn at the T intersection with 360th Rd. The Taurus continued across 360th Rd. into a soybean field. Reporting officer Derek Fetrow cited inattention and disregard of traffic signs as factors contributing to the accident. The vehicle was towed.

Prairie Ln. at Highland Rd

The top of a 2017 International truck driven by Joel Dean, 27, Wichita, and owned by Penske Truck Leasing, Reading, Pennsylvania, caught overhead Westar power lines as it turned from Prairie Ln. onto Highland Rd. at 11:33 a.m. Sept. 27. Three power poles were broken and an electric line to 58 Lakeshore Dr. was disconnected. Power was disrupted for about 40 county lake residents while Westar completed repairs. Reporting officer Derek Fetrow cited inattention as contributing to the accident.

US-50 near mile post 302, east of Florence

A 2012 Peterbilt truck driven by Kelly Koehn, 55, Galva, and owned by K and K Gravel Products, Galva, caught fire as it was leaving Harshman Quarry at 9:33 a.m. Sept. 2. Sheriff’s deputy Derek Fetrow reported that the truck was engulfed in flames when he arrived at 9:36 a.m. The truck was destroyed.

US-50/US-77 roundabout at Florence

Long Yan, 29, Rowland Heights, California, was driving a 2005 Kenworth 2000 westbound on US-50 when he reportedly misjudged the curve of the roundabout and drove into the west ditch, striking a light pole at 4:45 a.m. Oct. 4. Undersheriff David Huntley cited inattention as a contributing factor. The truck was towed.

K-168 and W. Main St., Lehigh

Jasmine Walls, 16, Moundridge, was driving a 2002 Ford Mustang owned by Krystina Walls, Moundridge, when the vehicle ran over a stop sign as she attempted to turn onto W. Main St. from K-168 at 4:25 p.m. Oct. 4. Reporting officer Michael Ottensmeier cited inattention as a contributing factor. The vehicle was driven from the scene.

US-56 west of K-168

A 2004 Toyota Sequoia driven by Tawnya Siebert, 47, Hillsboro, struck and killed a deer at 6:15 a.m. Oct. 4. The vehicle was driven from the scene.

400 block of US-77, Florence

A 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Ronald Bufford, 45, Manhattan, backed into a parked 2012 Chevrolet 2500 owned by Edwin Robinson Jr., Florence, at 5:20 a.m. Friday. Undersheriff David Huntley reported inattention contributed to the accident. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene.
