According to law enforcement reports released Friday:

Pawnee Rd. south of 320th Rd.

A 2009 Ford Focus driven by Melissa Stuchlik, 54, Lincolnville, struck a deer at 10 p.m. June 25.

Old Mill Rd. south of 140th Rd.

A 1966 Chevrolet 210 driven by Lester Wedel, 74, newton, caught fire at 2 p.m. June 15 as he was driving. Peabody firefighters extinguished the fire, but Wedel had to tow the car away.

150th Rd. west of Alamo Rd.

A 2005 Scion tC driven by Courtney Reep, 29, Newton, struck a deer at 7 p.m. June 24. A neighbor helped remove the car.

190th Rd. east of Quail Creek Rd.

Jeraldine Klose, 81, Hillsboro, drove her 2007 Buick Lucerne into a ditch while trying to avoid hitting an animal at 8:55 p.m. June 27.

190th Rd. west of Remington Rd.

Austin Cross, 18, Hillsboro, drove a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado owned by Lynette Cross of the same address into a utility pole at 6:15 a.m. June 28. The pickup then rolled and slid on the road. Cross told deputies he was tired and overcorrected after hitting a slick spot. No injuries were reported.
