The Red Cross-sponsored swimming program is scheduled to start June 11 and will be handled again this year at the Hillsboro swimming pool. Marion school buses will transport participants to and from Hillsboro. Rhonda Rath of Florence will be head lifeguard this year.

Among those attending the reunion of the Marion High School class of 1916, were Mr. and Mrs. C.E. St. John of Arkansas City. Mr. St. John was superintendent of Marion school from 1907 through 1915.
