An unusual five generation picture was taken recently of Mrs. Ida Roberts and her family. Pictured are Mrs. Roberts, 87, Mrs. Earl Kelsey, Donald Kelsey, and Marion Kelsey, who is holding his small son, Kevin LaMoine. An interesting fact is that all are residents of Marion at the present time.

Their classmates at Marion Elementary School have selected Linda Helmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Helmer, and Jeanne Keazer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Keazer, as “posture queens.”

Harry Kurdian, nationally known lecturer and traveler will speak Thursday at the annual Kiwanis and Chamber of Commerce ladies night and honor banquet.

A standing room only crowd is expected Friday evening at the annual May Fete in the Marion High School gymnasium. Theme of the event is “Who’s Who in Disneyland.”

Becky Wood will be crowned May Fete Queen. Her royal consort will be Glen Hett. Peter Pan is played by Debra Link, Snow White by Teresa Case, Alice in Wonderland by Nancy Bennett, and Cinderella by Teresa Turk.
