County Commissioners approved an agreement Monday with TransCanada for Keystone Pipeline to go through the county.

The musical group 38 Special will return to Marion and be headliner June 5 during Chingawassa Days.

Kent Nelson is pictured working on what will end up being a piece of art as he carries on the legacy of Copper Shed founder Ern Hett.

Hett, who died in 1997, was the mastermind of turning countless household items and discarded articles into works of art at his workshop southwest of Marion.

Marion High School’s wrestling team won its regional meet Saturday at Marion. It was the first regional victory in the 11-year history of the Marion wrestling program.

MHS wrestling coach Chad Adkins was named regional coach of the year after the tournament.
