12 Warriors all-league

Senior pitcher Dylan Pippin and junior outfielder Mason Pederson of Marion were named first-teamers Monday on Heart of America all-league baseball team.

Four other Warriors made the second team: junior pitcher Nathan Baldwin, junior third baseman Peyton Heidebrecht, sophomore outfielder Jacob Vondenkamp and sophomore utility player Cole Srajer.

Senior second baseman Remington Putter was honorable mention.

Sedgwick had eight all-league honorees, including four first-teamers. Marion was second with seven. Inman was third with five.

Sophomore infielder Kourtney Hansen, senior infielder Kayla Kroupa, and junior utility player Shelby Felvus were named first-teamers in softball.

Senior designated player Elizabeth Meyer made the second team, and junior catcher Paige May was honorable mention.

Ell-Saline had eight on the all-league team. Marion had the fourth highest number, behind Trinity Catholic and Sedgwick.
