$25 reward will be paid for the arrest and conviction of the thief or thieves who stole the lap robes and overcoat out of the buggies at F.L. Dockstader’s livery barn on the night of Nov. 2, 1908, and $10 for the return of the property. T.B. Armstrong, President, Marion Anti-Horse Thief Association.

Gov. E.W. Hoch was down from Topeka Monday and Tuesday. His residence on the hill is being remodeled and enlarged to be ready for the return of the family early in the new year.

Mr. James Neill and family arrived in Marion Monday from Sedan. Mr. Neill has purchased the W.A. Remmers harness shop and is at once a Marion citizen. Marion will always have a welcome for citizens like Mr. Neill. They will occupy the property on the hill recently vacated by H.S. Blankley.

A little girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lilley last night and arrival of the little Miss meant great joy to the Lilley home. May she grow to be as the “lily of the valley.”

City Clerk Bown is now located in the second floor of the Tilson building, corner of Main and Fourth streets, over Pollitt & Kleinhammer’s hardware store. The new offices were occupied last Friday.
